Community Outreach

METSTAT is proud to be an active participant in community outreach functions.  Below is a list of some of the functions METSTAT has been involved in:

  • 2011: Tye W. Parzybok, President and Chief Meteorologist of METSTAT, was an adjunct science teacher at Frontier Academyin Greeley Colorado for the Fall 2011 semester.  Mr. Parzybok taught a Weather & Climate class to middle schoolers.

  • 2000-Present: METSTAT proudly supports the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS), which is “a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail and snow)” through annual financial donations.
  • 2008: Tye W. Parzybok, President and Chief Meteorologist of METSTAT, provided a 1/2-day Weather & Climate class to a group of home-schoolers.
  • 2007: METSTAT donated/installed an $800 Davis weather station to Grandview Elementary School in Windsor, Colorado.

  • 2005: METSTAT was a sponsor of a Windsor Colorado Parks and Recreation little league baseball team.

Whether for design optimization, legal purposes, media reports or insurance claims, we conduct thorough and accurate frequency analyses on all types of weather elements, such as wind speeds, dew points, precipitation and snow.
