Community Outreach
METSTAT is proud to be an active participant in community outreach functions. Below is a list of some of the functions METSTAT has been involved in:
- 2011: Tye W. Parzybok, President and Chief Meteorologist of METSTAT, was an adjunct science teacher at Frontier Academyin Greeley Colorado for the Fall 2011 semester. Mr. Parzybok taught a Weather & Climate class to middle schoolers.
- 2000-Present: METSTAT proudly supports the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS), which is “a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail and snow)” through annual financial donations.

- 2008: Tye W. Parzybok, President and Chief Meteorologist of METSTAT, provided a 1/2-day Weather & Climate class to a group of home-schoolers.
- 2007: METSTAT donated/installed an $800 Davis weather station to Grandview Elementary School in Windsor, Colorado.
- METSTAT-donated weather station on the roof of Grandview Elementary School, Windsor, CO.
- 2005: METSTAT was a sponsor of a Windsor Colorado Parks and Recreation little league baseball team.
